Powell lost against Casper today 17-14. 
However, they are not headed home yet. Whether or not they place in their pool depends on the outcome of the Wheatland vs. Rock Springs game at 7:00 tonight.
Powell lost to the host team today, 12-5
The next game, and the final pool play game is tomorrow (Friday) at 1:00 against Casper!
Powell won game 1 of their tournament play against Wheatland 12-11!

Evanston cancelled… state tourney will now be held in Rock Springs, July 20-23
Game 3 against Lovell ended in the 5th: Powell 22, Lovell 7
Game 4 against Cody ended in the 5th with Cody taking 1st place and Powell taking 2nd. Both teams advance to State next week in Evanston
Cody won by one run, 5-4 was the final score of the 7:30 friday evening game. Powell plays again Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. against Lovell. The winner of that game plays Cody.
